Today's Valparaiso University Women's Volleyball Popcorn Classic tournament games have been moved to Senator Gym!! Due to the installation of AC at the Valparaiso University ARC and the warm and humid conditions, Valparaiso University will take advantage of the AC at WTHS!
The tournament will still be ticketed, and fans should enter at Door 1. The day's schedule remains the same, with Michigan facing Cincinnati at 1 p.m. and Valpo taking on Oakland at 6 p.m. Doors will open to the public one hour before each match. Due to the relocation, there will be no ESPN+ stream of the Valpo-Oakland match.
With Cincinnati and Michigan being part of this weekend's event, it will be the first time Valpo has hosted two current Power Four programs (Michigan-Big Ten, Cincinnati-ACC) at the ARC since Syracuse and Purdue both came to town in 2001.

Dr. Teixeira's Human Body Systems class ended last week by beginning construction on their Anatomy in Clay Learning System Manikens. Throughout the course, students will build various organ systems, tissues, and vessels on these two-foot skeletal Manikens. This approach allows students to build a three-dimensional perspective of the human body from the inside out.
In their first build, students learned to sculpt the temporalis muscle, the orbicularis oculi (around the eye), and the orbicularis oris (around the mouth). Students will continue to add to their Maniken throughout the rest of the school year, one system at a time.
