On behalf of the Purdue University Women in Engineering Program, I wanted to share information with you and Washington Twp Middle/High School regarding a free event.
Introduce Engineering Day invites all high school freshmen and sophomores with an engineering interest to Purdue’s campus.
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, students will participate in hands-on challenges, and be mentored by a current, Purdue engineering student during the day.
See attached flyer for further information, plus a QR code. Registration is required, at engineering.purdue.edu/WiE under the “Introduce Engineering Day” tab. Each student will need to create or log into a Purdue user account to register.

We are conducting our next Blood Drive differently. We will have one drive here in the Media Center on Wednesday, December 10th from 8:15 AM to 1:15 PM FOR WTS STAFF AND STUDENTS ONLY!! Members of the community can sign up to donate at the WT Fire Station from 1 - 6 PM. We hope we can count on many of you to donate! Not only will we earn scholarship money for each donation and save lives, but each donor will receive a $15 Amazon gift card! Sign ups will begin during lunch on December 3rd, or you can sign up at RedCrossBlood.org. Thank you for your help!!
Our next Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, December 10th. This time we are setting things up a bit differently. We will have one drive occurring in the Media Center for ONLY students and staff from 8:15 AM to 1:15 PM, and a second drive occurring at the WT Fire Station for people in the community from 1 PM - 6 PM. For every pint of blood we collect the Red Cross will donate towards a scholarship fund for our students. PLUS, anyone donating will receive a $15 Amazon gift card! Please don't miss out on this incredible opportunity!! Students/staff can sign up during lunch on December 3rd (or see Mrs. Rea); everyone else can sign up at RedCrossBlood.org!
