“Hey Senators! In case you didn’t know one of our own students, senior Jason Bunag, is the Indiana District Key Club Governor this year! Jason is calling on your help on some District campaigns!! -Indiana District of Key Club Governor Project “As District Governor, Jason has to host a state-wide project. So he has chosen to fundraise and raise awareness for Special Olympics!!! One of Key Club's core values is inclusiveness, and Jason believes Special Olympics embodies that core value perfectly. Jason also believes Special Olympics’s mission of providing sports opportunities for children and adults with intellectual disabilities is inspiring. So if you want to support a great organization and/or want to see Jason jump in freezing cold water in February, please help contribute to the goal of raising $1,500 by clicking THIS link to go to his donation page! Any amount that you can contribute is much appreciated!!” -Indiana District Key Club x Luv Michael Campaign “Also, the Indiana District of Key Club has launched a statewide fundraising campaign with Luv Michael! The campaign will last through the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons until December 31st!! This campaign is meant to be a way to raise support for both Luv Michael and Riley Children’s Hospital. 50% of every single dollar raised will go to one organization and 50% will go to the other organization. In case you don’t know, Luv Michael is an organization that supports adults on the autism spectrum and children in the local communities. Then, of course, Riley Children’s Hospital is Indiana’s largest and most skilled pediatric system, with over 50 locations across the state. As one of the nation’s leading healthcare networks specifically for children, Riley’s multidisciplinary team of pediatric primary care and specialists can deliver and coordinate healthcare for every child because Riley’s employees have expertise in all areas of pediatric health. Your involvement in this campaign will not only earn you up to 10 service hours but also the chance to be part of a historic movement within our state. Please consider donating to this campaign. Each contribution adds to a collective goal that helps provide meaningful work and essential healthcare. HERE is Jason’s page to donate!

Today , 13 Washington Township Entrepreneurship students participated in the first annual Valparaiso University Innovation Hub high school pitch competition. The students pitched their original product ideas in front of a panel of local entrepreneurs and VU professors. Lillian Brown and Donovan Jorczak both placed in the top 10, winning a prize of $350 each to move onto the prototype stage. WT could not be prouder of the kids accomplishments, and how hard they have worked on their projects.
