If you have shared information about the mattress sale with 10 people, volunteer for at least one hour on Feb 7, and have one person purchase a mattress and credit you, you will be eligible to win the $400 bean bag chair in the office. That same chair will be at the next four home varsity basketball games and you could win the chance to sit in the chair to watch those games. Starting tonight please register for your chance to watch the game on the sidelines from the chair.

A BIG WT Shout Out to WTMS 8th grader Annabelle Sexton for representing the participating middle schools of Junior Achievement of Chicago (including NW Indiana) at the Junior Achievement of Chicago Board meeting last week. Annabelle answered questions online from the board about her recent participation in the East Porter JA Town which is a budgeting simulation experience where students will be an adult financially for a day. Junior Achievement (JA) is a global non-profit that provides experiential education to K-12 students, teaching them essential skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship through hands-on programs, often delivered by corporate volunteers. Its mission is to empower young people with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in the global economy, connecting classroom learning to real-world opportunities.
