Our next new staff member is Mrs. Stacy Stutzman! Mrs. Stutzman will serve as a high school instructional aide for the first few weeks of the school year and then fill Mrs. Leighty's maternity leave position until after spring break. Mrs. Stutzman is the mother of four Union Township students and is excited to enter the education field after spending many years as a stay-at-home mom.

Students in PLTW computer science today worked on a scavenger hunt so they could be familiar with MIT app inventor and coding.

ICP and Earth Space classes were working on procedure writing today. Students were instructed to build something out of Legos while writing the procedure to the build. Students then exchanged bags of Legos and the directions to see how well the directions were written. We discovered that writing clear, concise and complete procedures is very important in science.
