Jody Stump Breaks 800 Meter Record

Freshman Jody Stump broke Sandy Nadolski's 45 year-old, 800 meter record on Wednesday night in a meet at South Central. Jody established the new record with a time of 2:18.32 lowering the previous record by almost 2 seconds! Congratulations Jody! On You Senators!

Congratulations to the WTHS English Academic Team for qualifying for the state competition on Saturday, May 9th at Purdue University! English Team members were Bre Flint, Christian Lutin and Mary Scott with Coach Swann! ON YOU SENATORS!!

High School Academic Team Has Impressive Showing at Wheeler.

Yesterday our High School Academic Teams competed in the Area Invite at Wheeler High School with many strong showings. Our Social Studies Team placed 3rd. The Social Studies Team consisted of Addison Peres, Natalie Lugar, Karson Kish and Liam Powell. Our Fine Arts team placed Second. Our Fine Arts team members are Jasmine Estrada-Bateman, Annalese De Dios, Karson Kish, Natalie Lugar and Haleigh Peres. Our Math Team placed first. Our Math team members were Abby Vermillion, Logan Hughes, Ella Kodiced and Oliver Rodd. Our Science Team also placed first. Science team members were Bre Flint, Logan Hughes, Addison Peres and Wyatt Mottl. And Finally our English team also placed first. English Team members were Bre Flint, Christian Lutin and Mary Scott. WT should find out at some point today if any teams qualified for State. ON YOU SENATORS
