This week in Principles of Biomedical Science, students engaged in an interactive group activity to solve a bank robbery. Students were challenged to think outside the box and work on context clues. By stepping into the role of forensic investigators, students realized the importance of attention to detail in biomedical science. This was a fun and engaging way to build essential analytical and collaborative skills.
Students were asked to leave the room and draw a picture of the classroom in as much detail as possible. They then combined their results into one drawing, returned to the room, and compared what they drew with the actual classroom. Three items had been moved around to see if they would notice. Students took on the role of a forensic artist highlighting the importance of detail and observation.

Message from Mr. Fields, WTMHS Principal:
WT had 100% attendance on the first day of school. In my 28 years, I have never had that. I called around to some friends at other schools in the area, they did not have 100% on the first day. School attendance is very important and we want to see students here everyday. Thanks.
