Washington Twp Middle/High School

In late June, Miss Shepard traveled to Washington DC for a week of learning through Street Law Inc and the Supreme Court Historical Society hosted at Georgetown University Law Center. During that time, she participated in educational activities to strengthen and expand instruction about the Court, landmark cases, and constitutional law.  On top of receiving world-class instruction and classroom resources, a few highlights were getting to go to the Supreme Court on decision day, and listening to the Justices give their opinions. The cohort also met with many professionals in litigation in the DC area including lawyers that argue in front of the Supreme Court and past Supreme Court law clerks.  Miss Shepard is excited to share her experiences with her students, and implement the knowledge and resources from this program! ON YOU SENATORS!!
