What a wonderful day we had on Monday, February 24th celebrating camaraderie among eight high schools in Porter County! Two students from each school (Boone, Hebron, Kouts, Morgan, Portage, Washington, Wheeler and Valpo) worked on the planning committee for the Porter County Leadership Conference held at the VHS Field House. It was inspiring and fulfilling to watch as these students brainstormed ideas and organized an absolutely incredible event! We had 25 students from
our school (over 220 students participated) who participated in a day filled with workshops and service projects. Our guest speaker was Jamahl Keyes who mixed his inspirational message to the students with some fun magic! Special thanks go out to the Noon Kiwanis, Valparaiso Rotary and Family Express for sponsoring this event! We couldn’t be as successful without your friendship and support!
