BLAST FROM THE PAST!! 17 Years Ago!! The 2008-2009 basketball season saw both the Senator Boys and Girls capturing the PCC traveling trophies during the season. The Lady Senators defeated defending PCC champion Kouts in its first PCC contest of the year by the score of 69-55 and capture the Kup from the Fillies. WT went on to defeat LaCrosse, South Central in the Mid-Winter Classic and Hebron to bring the Kup into the PCC Tournament at Hebron. The Lady Senators defeated Morgan Township in the quarter-final 51-44 before losing to Kouts in the semi-finals 53-49 in OT. This was the last time WT Girls had possession of the Kup until Thursday night's win over Westville.

The WT Boys captured the PCC Victory Keg in the quarter-final of the PCC Tournament upsetting tournament favorite Boone Grove and for a few days, WTHS had possession of both the PCC Victory Keg and Kup!! The Boys upset Kouts in the semi-final before losing to South Central in the championship game. WTE's Mr. Lembke was a big part of that PCC tournament run!!

Congratulations to the Lady Senators and we can't wait to see what the PCC Kup looks like in Senator Scarlet and Black!!
