The Washington Township High School Hall of Fame Selection Committee has announced their inductees for the Class of 2024 class which includes Kristi (Barkas) Strom (WTHS Class of 1998) and Steve Maxey (WTHS Class of 1972)
Nominees were submitted by the general public and then voted on by the selection committee. To become eligible for the WTHS Hall of Fame, nominees had to have been an alum of Washington Township High School for at least ten years. They also had to display accomplishments in one or more of the following categories: athletics, honors, professional/entrepreneur/industrial, science/technology, military/community service or as a retired WT faculty/staff/coach.
The Washington Township High School Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Friday, February 16th at the Washington Township vs. Whiting JV/Varsity boys basketball game begins (Time TBA).
