Zac Mago Foundation

The Porter County Health Department will be sponsoring a Zac Mago Foundation Preventative Heart Screening at Kouts High School on November 4th from 8am-Noon for all East Porter County School Corporation students ages 10 and up.  The Zac Mago Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, providing education, and preventing conditions that lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest in teenagers.  The foundation focuses on creating a positive impact by offering limited echocardiograms and electrocardiograms (EKGs) to teenagers at the affordable rate of $25 per child.  These diagnostic tests can potentially identify underlying heart conditions and play a crucial role in preventing tragic incidents related to cardiac arrest.  For more information, click the Zac Mago Foundation Preventative Heart Screening Flyer (pdf)
