Congratulations goes out to WTMS students and parents/guardians as the ILEARN scores have been released from the state and WT scored and ranked well compared to Porter County middle schools (12 public middle schools in Porter County). WTMS was also well above the state average in all ILEARN categories. Highlights include:
- Top score in Porter County for 8th Grade English Language Arts (75.9%)
- Top score in Porter County for 6th-8th Grade English Language Arts (70.4%)
- Top score in Porter County for 6th Grade Science (69.0%)
- 2nd place in Porter County for 8th Grade ELA and Math (44.4%)
- 2nd place in Porter County for 6th Grade English Language Arts (69.0%)
- 2nd place in Porter County for 7th Grade English Language Arts (67.2%)
- 5th place in Porter County for 6th-8th Grade Math (50.8%)
- 3rd place in Porter County for 6th-8th Grade ELA and Math (48.0%) (Ben Franklin MS and Chesterton MS--with Liberty and Westchester 6th grade--ahead of WTMS)
