East Porter Community Members— we want to hear from you!
As the School Board continues discussions about our programs, services, and long-term priorities in response to changing financial conditions and growing student needs, your input is essential.
Please take 5–7 minutes to complete our community survey. Your feedback will help:
• Gather insight on comfort with various funding considerations
• Identify priorities for programs, services, and facility needs
Your responses are confidential and will directly help guide future planning. The survey will close on January 2, 2026.

BOOK FAIR SUCCESS and eWALLET INFO
Thank you for helping make our Scholastic Book Fair a success! We appreciate all the shoppers and are very grateful to the volunteers and staff who assisted with the Fair. If your student had an eWallet with unspent funds, it has become a Scholastic eGift (and can be found on the eWallet creator's Scholastic account). eGift balances can be used to shop online with Scholastic or the balance can be used to fund a new eWallet for a future Book Fair (our next Book Fair will be held in April). Thank you again for contributing to the success of our Fair!

🎬 Framing Our Future | Part 4: Looking Ahead Together
We’ve reached the final video in our four-part series with Superintendent Dr. Aaron Case, where we’ve explored our district’s current challenges, classroom priorities, and the factors shaping our future.
In Part 4, Dr. Case turns the focus to you — our families, staff, and community members. He invites everyone to share their thoughts, opinions, and collaborate as we begin charting a path forward for East Porter.
🎥 In this conclusion, Dr. Case discusses the importance of community input and partnership as we plan for the years ahead.

Thank you for following along with the Framing Our Future series. Together, we can build a strong and sustainable future for East Porter.

Get ready to spread some cheer! Students are encouraged to join in on the fun for the Holiday Dress-Up Days from Monday, December 15 through Thursday, December 18. Flyers have also been sent home with each of your students.
Let’s fill our halls with holiday spirit and have some fun together! 🎅✨

Our Student Council is excited to host a Household Items Drive to support local families in need. We are collecting new items that can help make a house feel like a home.
📅 Donations are due by December 16, 2025.
We have already received a generous donation of toothbrushes, so we encourage families to consider donating any of the other items on our list to help provide a well-rounded collection for the families we serve.
Thank you for spreading kindness and supporting our community this holiday season! 💛
