It was a historic day for the Washington Township High School academic teams.  Not only did we have three teams qualify for State, but we came away with not one, but two State Championships!!!!  Our fine arts team of Emma Howard, Andrew Nichols and Katie Richardson were the first team in school history to get first place at State and then an hour later our Socials Studies team of Brendan Gschwind, Gunnar Casban and Drew Gschwind were the second team in school history to win a State Championship.  Our Science team of Ranger Scott, Camden Bell, Owen Nichols, Madalyn Richardson and Isabell Gaydos were also amazing placing 4th in the State.  We have fantastic students at Washington and it was so great to see all of their hard work pay off.

Congratulations to Claire Horvath for winning the high jump.  Congratulations to Olivia Martinze for winning the 200, 400, long jump and setting the PCC meet record!
