Congratulations to the Washington Township Middle School Academic Team on capturing their 12th Team Championship at the WTMS Academic Invitational presented by Blythe's Team Sports. This was Team Senator’s 10th Team Title out of the last 11 Invitationals held.
Pacing Team Senator were the English Team consisting of Natalie Lugar, Steven Cannon, and McKenna Bouchee. They led the way scoring a 20 out of 25 to easier separate themselves from the rest of the field.
The Science team of Addison Peres, Noah Satterblom and Christian Lutin continued the winning ways for Team Senator as they were able to defeat the field of 10 other teams by 2.
Rounding out the victories for Team Senator was the Social Studies team of Addison Peres, Oliver Rodd, and Liam Powell which started fast and was able to keep a comfortable gap between them and second place throughout the round.
The Interdisciplinary team finished second while the math team placed fourth.
Team Senator will be back in action Saturday, April 29 when they take on the entire state in the annual Area/State competition at LaPorte. Thanks to everyone who came out and supported and helped out Team Senator.
